Proj. Notes

Art, copy, and select layout direction developed for Analog Nostalgia, a collaborative photo book produced by 20XX Magazine and Landline Studios. Analog Nostalgia highlights New York and Tokyo, celebrating introspection, and the parallels found in both the cities and their people.

As a consultant to Analog Nostalgia, the art direction behind the project focused on image selection, sequencing, and overall storytelling. An emphasis was placed on pairing scenes from both cities to develop larger narratives when viewed in page spreads together. As a nod to both American and Japanese audiences, the book is designed to be readable from either the front or back cover. The story experience varies based on the reader’s choice.
