A logo created as a starting point for Landline Studios, an upcoming digital platform aimed at bridging western and eastern cultures. The brand was explored and identified further through its color palette and imagery.


The semi-interwoven characters of the logo speak to Landline’s mission to connect cultures but, in a way that is not forced. The interweaving grounds the logo-An allusion to the physical grounding of old landlines.

The “L” icon is derived from the wordmark logo and a smaller modified “L”-Viewed with perspective, the icon is read as a silhouette of two connected telephone lines.
